Rita is my mom who was a very hard working multi talented lady. She could cook, sew and her greatest talent was to decorate cakes. She made the most beautiful natural looking roses that I have ever seen and the most amazing butter cream iced cakes as was popular back then. As a child, I remember my mom would make a cake way past our bedtime and voila the next morning there sitting on the table was the most outstanding work of art.
If not for seeing her planning and baking the cake from scratch and painstakingly making those beautiful roses during the day, I almost assumed there was a fairy that made the cakes after my sister and I went to bed!
It has always been a dream of my mothers to progress with her cakes and someday run a small business. Her dream never materialized and gradually no more beautiful roses, or amazing looking cakes on the table.
I on the other hand have always been interested in Painting, Interior decorating, Fashion designing and anything and everything to do with Hand craft. I am one of those Jacks Of All Trades, Master of None. That was until I discovered the wonders of Fondant and 3D cakes. Sky was the limit and since then there has been no turning back.
Once I discovered my passion, I started making 3D Novelty Cakes for my children. After all I have free design over their cakes, plus there was no one to complain if it turned out bad. this led to making my Kids friends' cakes and their friends! All my doubts about my ability were diminished by the look in a child's eye, when they see my cakes. Thus the creation of my hobby Rita's Little Wish Cakes.
Personally the most enthralling feedback I can ever get from one of my handmade masterpieces is the look of enchantment in a child's eye! Their eyes speak a million words, money cannot buy! Hope you all enjoy looking at my creations as much as I love making them!
These cakes by Ritas Little Wish Cakes sure did brighten our loved ones day. Birthday cakes are created around a theme, an invite or just a favourite colour or fun character. Most often a cake is designed specially keeping the Birthday Girl or Birthday Boy in mind!
An exclusive range of Cupcakes have been designed for that special person. Special touches such as pretty Cupcake cases add glamour to a display on a stand.
These handmade sugar figurines and toppers sure did enlighten the cake and function. By itself or on a cake to complement the theme, it makes a great talking point at any occation. Made out of sugar its a wonderful keepsake. Stored under the correct conditions it will last forever.
These cakes made the special event the most memorable one. They are are specially designed keeping to the theme which brightened up the event.

CHOCOLATE SPONGE
Sumptuously rich, moist, chocolate cake layered and filled with chocolate icing.
CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE
This cake has a perfect texture for odd shaped cakes such as the mad hatter and topsy turvey cakes with a layer of dark chocolate ganache filling.
VANILLA SPONGE
A light cake with a delicate vanilla flavour, layered with butter cream icing. It is a perfect option for children and daytime events such as christenings.
WHITE CHOCOLATE MUD CAKE
A dense cake made with lots of white chocolate and layered in white chocolate ganache filling.
FRUIT CAKE
A Traditional and deliciously moist rich cake, our fruit cake is made with generous amounts of fruits, nuts and cherries soaked in brandy. Truly decadent!

2in x 1in x height of cake (approx. 4in)
COFFEE SERVE
1in x 1in x height of cake (approx. 4in)
Each cake is specially designed and custom made keeping your individual preferences in mind, as result no two cakes are alike. The minimum order for our Novelty cakes is $150.

Decorated cupcakes are from $5.00 each, for a minimum order of 12 cupcakes.
Delivery/ Set Up and Stand Hire will incur additional charges.
I am so happy to have been placed 1st at the Mothers Day Competition, held by the North shore Branch of the Cake Decorators Association of Western Australia.
My cake 'Snip me a Hat' was also judged the Most Outstanding Exhibit, at the Mothers Day competition. I was awarded The Helen Bennett Perpetual Trophy, for the Most Outstanding Exhibit by Ms. Gaena Duncan, Head of Judges at the Perth Royal Show.

The Famous Wiggles Cake everyone was waiting to see!!!, and yes it lived up to the expectation!! and it tasted as good as it looks. Thank u Shevi you r a genius. We didnt want to cut it, we ate the base but still have the car, dessert for another night maybe!!
